Poetic Injustice

Love and hate roam my mind,

Digging up handfuls of sympathy and envy.

My mind sparks memories from when I wore smaller shoes,

And foreshadows the sickening future.

As I stumble and speed through my thoughts,

I realize that I am a lover and a hater,

A prodigy and a disgrace,

A poet and a writer,

But nothing more
